Building Knowledge – Improving Project Delivery
The Chicago Chapter of the
Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) was formed in 1953. Our mission is to advance the greater Chicago area design and construction community’s knowledge of building information management, construction technology, and project delivery methods to improve facility performance while fostering relationships and promoting education.
Since 1953, our Chapter Members have been committed to building knowledge and improving project delivery. Our active and diverse membership of construction industry professionals include architects, specifiers, engineers, consultants, manufacturer representatives, contractors, students, and more.
CSI Chicago seeks to provide its members with tools to collaborate and effectively communicate the designer’s vision, the material producers’ solutions, and the constructors’ techniques to create outstanding facilities that meet facility owners’ objectives. Through education, certification, networking, community involvement and member tools, members are able to continuously build knowledge and improve project delivery.
